In case you are unfamiliar with the SlingBox, it allows you to stream live TV and recorded shows from your cable box/DVR at home to any mobile device (cell phones, laptops, etc) and finally they are creating an app for the iPhone. You would still have to get a SlingBox in order to use the app tho.


Engadget: SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone demoed on video, coming in Q1

No surprises here, but Sling Media has created a new SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone portal on its website in order to accomplish two important tasks. 1) To announce that it will indeed be submitted to Apple for certification this quarter and 2) to show off a new video of the software in action.
