preview of my future career

(so i lost a bet to krys...long story short...i had to write an article about her so here it is)

Succeeding through Experience: Krystina Orozco’s Life After College
by Rommel Conclara

Compared to most post-college graduates, Krystina Orozco is equipped with knowledge and life experience that is used to her advantage.
At 23 years old, Orozco is a USF graduate and has traveled around the world in her own quest for a better understanding of life. Her significant destination would be England and her stay would last anywhere from weeks to months. Orozco’s frequent travels would obviously strain the relationships with her family and friends. Despite foreign lands and the fear of the unknown, she took advantage of the opportunity.
“It worked out for the best,” said Orozco.
She now returns to England for vacation and to maintain the friendships she made while there.
After her experience in England, Orozco returned home to California. A Daly City native, Orozco used her Bachelor’s degree in communications to obtain a job as a reporter for Philippine News. While working for Philippine News, Orozco enjoyed being involved with the community. She began networking and sharpened her writing skills during her time with the newspaper. She left Philippine News after a year to pursue other opportunities.
Orozco’s future goals include becoming an editor for a magazine or working as a coordinator in public relations. Her incentive is to be in management hoping to branch out to different countries.
No matter what Orozco decides to do, she constantly gains the experience needed for her next step. And the last trait that she has over her fellow post-college graduates is motivation.
“It’s always working yourself up to that top position,” said Orozco.
